GHA has a campus of more than 14 wooded acres in Sandy Springs, in Greater Atlanta.

TheaterIn the spring of 2001, we completed a third expansion to include a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center/Beit Meidrash. Complete with computerized sound and light booths, this 700-seat auditorium is the largest in the area, outside of a congregational sanctuary setting. And it's the only one of its kind for elementary age students in a Jewish day school in the Atlanta area. Our annual musical and regular concerts are held in this beautiful auditorium.

The art and music rooms along with our, 1200-square-foot drama room, and lower school classrooms are also housed in this area.

Our library called the Arnovitz Library has achieved and been awarded Advanced level certificate of accreditation from the Association of Jewish Libraries. Students can further enhance their intellectual development in our fully computerized media center. With internet resources, CD's, DVD's and more than 23,000 general and Judaic volumes at their disposal, students have the ability to explore topic areas in depth and produce well documented work. A reading room welcomes all classes each week to the limitless world of reading.

Microscopes, and telescopes find their place in our science labs. Students, depending on grade level, find themselves in the ever changing, always exploring, exciting world of science.

GHA has four computer labs, which are used to teach classes and for students to use for independent work and study. All labs have state-of-the- art equipment, and Internet capabilities. In addition, we have a mobile laptop lab, and a number of classes that have one-to-one computing.

All classrooms from Kindergarten through 8th grade are equipped with SmartBoards.

We use the internet to make it easy for parents and students to stay informed. Our faculty and staff make the most of ParentsWeb, a web based program that allows students and their parents to view assignments, keep up with their grades, see a complete schedule of their tests and stay informed on class and school news.

Our full-size gymnasium is the home of our Physical Education Department. With one of two playgrounds just outside its doors, students can enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities.

Our Early Childhood Department (ECD) wing houses Infant and Toddlers, 3-year-old, 4-year-old and kindergarten classes and has facilities that far exceed Georgia Department of Human Resources requirements. Each classroom has two restrooms and separate storage rooms for cubbies, artwork and rest mats. A dairy kitchen is located in the ECD wing which enables the children to expand their learning beyond classroom walls. They have their own playground with age-appropriate equipment. We are proud of our newly created ECD vegetable garden. Children plant, water and get to eat a variety of vegetables while learning about healthy eating habits and the wonder of nature.
