  • Purimpalooza Talent Show - The annual school talent show showcases the AJA talent and spirit that permeates the Upper campus.  The show consists of music, dance, comedy, and many other surprises that keep the audience at the tips of their seats for the entire evening.  The event runs Purim evening directly following the Megillah reading and makes Purim evening and even more festive occasion.  
  • Photography- The Photography Club is a way for interested students to learn about the medium and increase their photography skills. Students are encouraged to submit their photos for publication in the yearbook or Palette.

Student Publications

  • The Gesher, Yearbook - A student-run publication that requires students to format and prepare the school yearbook, which is distributed each spring.  The yearbook editor(s) are US upperclassmen who coordinate the photography, writing, software formatting, advertising sales, and other tasks required to produce a fun and engaging annual with the rest of the yearbook staff.  
  • Literary Magazine - Voices, the AJA US Literary Magazine, is a student-run online publication featuring the creative writing of AJA students.  All AJA US students are encouraged to submit their poetry, fiction, plays, and/or artwork to be published in Voices.  Literary magazine members write original submissions, edit submitted work, and maintain the Voices website.

Service Learning Clubs

  • Chesed Club - To participate in projects that foster Service Learning within the Jewish and greater community. Projects will be planned, coordinated and performed by club members.
  • Kids Who Care - Students Who Care (S.W.C.) is a community service organization that takes full responsibility of student's mandatory community service hours. SWC does this by planning projects, rides, food, and service forms for the students making community service hours easier and more fun.

Honor Societies

  • National Honor Society - A select group of students who exemplify the school's dedication to service, leadership, scholarship, and character. Members plan and participate in monthly service projects, attend regular meetings, and maintain a 3.6 GPA. To be eligible for membership, students must have completed their sophomore year, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.7, and stood out to faculty and students for their character, dedication to service, and leadership abilities.
