Goldie has a long history with AJA that started when she attended GHA as a student from Pre-K through 8th grade, and then attended Yeshiva Atlanta for high school. Her belief in self expression and creativity, as well as Jewish values led her to obtain a Bachelor's degree in art from Stern College for Women.
Goldie then went on to study Art Education at Columbia Teachers College where she received her master's degree. The richness and beauty of Early Childhood education is what inspired her to begin teaching Pre-K at AJA in 2012.
“Education should liberate childhood energy and capacities.” - Bruno Ciari, 1951 Emilia school system director.
